Dr. Corona is a fellowship-trained pediatric urologist with expertise in all aspects of pediatric urology, with a particular focus on robotic surgery and complex hypospadias repair. She serves as the urologist for the multidisciplinary DSD (differences of sex development) clinic.
Dr. Corona's research interests center on health services and outcomes research, with a particular passion for antibiotic stewardship and the prevention of urinary tract infection in children. Her work explores non-antibiotic and antibiotic responsible strategies for UTI prophylaxis and aims to build the evidence base needed to shift pediatric urologic practice toward safer, personalized and more patient-centered models of infection prevention. This research is supported by funding from the American Association of Pediatric Urologists (AAPU) and the American Urological Association (AUA).
Outside of work, Dr. Corona enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
