Radioactive Materials Training
Radiation safety training is required for all security personnel who receive radioactive materials for nuclear medicine departments.
Security personnel who receive radioactive material for nuclear medicine departments must complete the “Annual Radiation Safety Training for Security Personnel” online course located in the VUMC Learning Exchange initially before receiving and handling radioactive materials and annual thereafter.
