Prior to disposal of laboratory equipment, verify it is free from chemical, biological, or radioactive material contamination.
If equipment may be contaminated with:
- Biological material, refer to Preparing Biological Lab Equipment for In-House Service or Disposal
- Radioactive material, send a message to radsafety@vumc.org to request a contamination survey.
