On Monday, Vanderbilt Radiology Society (VRS), in partnership with the Vanderbilt Medical Alumni Association (VMAA), hosted its inaugural Vanderbilt RSNA Alumni Reception in Chicago.

Next week, more than 50,000 radiology leaders from around the world will convene in Chicago for the RSNA's 102nd Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. Yesterday, the Department of Radiology hosted its Annual Chairman’s Leadership Awards and Special Recognition Ceremony, which recognized more than 80 radiology team members for their outstanding contributions to the department and the Medical Center.  Approximately 100 attendees, from department leadership to technologists, were welcomed to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Theatre with a VIP red carpet entrance and paparazzi, along with popcorn, punch and sweet treats to enjoy during the ceremony.
