Erin Cooke Selected for SCARD-GE Healthcare LEAD Program

Congratulations to Erin Cooke, MD, Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program Director and Associate Professor of Radiology and Radiological Sciences, for being accepted into the 2023-2024 SCARD-GE Healthcare Leading Empowering and Disrupting (LEAD) Program.

This program, a joint project by SCARD and GE Healthcare, is a one-year women’s leadership program comprised of 20 female leaders from across the field of radiology. The goal is to increase the number of women in leadership positions, building a network of women across radiology and the industry.

“I’m honored and excited to participate in the LEAD Program,” Dr. Cooke says. “I’m also grateful to the department for the support and encouragement, especially from faculty who have previously participated such as Dr. Deitte and Dr. Spalluto.”

Dr. Cooke and her LEAD cohorts begin in September. Learn more about the program by visiting the SCARD website here.
