The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) assists all members of the Medical Center community with the submission of grant proposals for external support of research, creative, instructional, and service activities.
More specifically, OSP supports investigators who have or plan to apply for external funding and departmental administrators who assist these investigators with proposal preparation and award administration.
OSP's goal is to deliver high-quality services and expertise in an efficient and professional manner. We seek ways to improve the management complexities within the pre- and non-financial award cycle, while building relationships with the research community. Our mission is to continually improve VUMC's overall technical and functional expertise in research administration.
