Dr. Mather is a native of Lebanon, Tennessee and is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Littman of Lebanon. She attended Florida State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. In 2011, Dr. Mather received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency in Washington, D.C. at Georgetown University/ Washington Hospital Center. Her husband, Seth, is a radiology resident at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
