Background

Dr. Brown is originally from Minnesota, but has been making his way south to Tennessee. He received both his medical degree and doctorate from the University of Iowa. Dr. Brown then completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. This was followed by a glaucoma fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where he was a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology.

Dr. Brown's main clinical focus will be the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and related conditions. His academic interests include utilizing ophthalmic imaging and functional testing to predict glaucoma disease progression.
