Hunter Sowell, PharmD
PGY2 Resident
Hunter is from Atlanta, Georgia and completed his undergraduate education at Young Harris College and pharmacy education at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy. He completed his PGY1 residency training at the University of Louisville Health in Louisville, KY. During pharmacy school, he was a member of the Rho Chi Honor Society and served as a student representative on both the College’s Curriculum and Experiential Education Committees. His clinical interests include hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplant/cellular therapies. In his free time, he tries to play as much golf as he can. He also loves exploring Nashville's food scene with his fiancé, who is happens to be one of his PGY2 co-residents at Vanderbilt!
