Standardized Patients Play A Vital Role in Training Medical Professionals

 

The Program in Human Simulation (PHS) seeks individuals interested in participating in the education of medical students and other healthcare providers.

If you are:

  • Interested in being a vital part of a medical student's learning experience
  • Have experience in theater, role-play, or are interested in acquiring these skills

...then the Program in Human Simulation needs you!


There are several levels of participation in teaching and testing including:

  • Basic interviewing
  • Physical examination
  • Communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
  • A combination of all of these

PHS offers flexible hours, based upon scheduled events, with a competitive hourly rate of pay.

Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your request to become a standardized patient.  In order to be considered for a position as a standardized patient you must first attend an information session.  You will be contacted with a date and time when an information session is scheduled.
