Interview Day Details
For summer 2020, our interviews took place via Zoom due to the coronavirus pandemic. Should restrictions still apply for summer 2021, we will conduct interviews by Zoom once again. More details regarding this process will be sent to those selected for interview. See below for our normal interview process details.
An interview is an essential part of our selection process. Upon completion of the SAFAS application, all materials are reviewed carefully, and interview invitations are extended to selected candidates. Interview dates are scheduled on Mondays during the months of June through September. Exact dates will be made known if selected for an interview.
On the night before each interview day, from 6:30p.m. to 8:00p.m., there will be a gathering with current fellows at a local restaurant, so you can get to know more about the program. On interview day, breakfast and lunch are provided. The welcome, program presentation, and interviews will commence at 6:30a.m. The interview process is a full day and should be done by 4:00p.m.
