VUMC Initial Requirements for New Staff

All new staff are assigned mandatory online training in the Learning Exchange that they are required to complete as part of the orientation process.   One assignment is for the Vanderbilt Initial Compliance Magazine training and there are several separate assessments also assigned for the topics covered in the magazine.  Other mandatory training is also assigned.  New staff must complete all training within the specified deadlines.

Important:  This is the minimum required training.  Additional training will be required for many positions.  Refer to VUMC Annual Requirements for Staff for a more extensive list of required safety training.  Ask your supervisor if you are required to complete any other safety and compliance training for your job.
