Lisa Stewart, MEd, MSN

Division of Addiction Psychiatry

Lisa Stewart joined the department as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2022 and works within the Divisions of Addiction Psychiatry and Child-Adolescent Psychiatry. She serves on the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry teams for the main hospital, specializing in Addictions, and the children's hospital, in addition to providing care at the Bridge Clinic. 

Prior to joining VUMC, Lisa's background was as a School Counselor in Metro Nashville Public Schools, where she secured state designation of her school as a Trauma-Informed School. More recently, she worked in Emergency Psychiatry as a Psychiatric Assessment Nurse evaluating individuals in mental health crisis and assisting with level of care determinations. While at Vanderbilt School of Nursing, she was awarded the Luther Christman Award for outstanding clinical student and the Amy Frances Brown Award for excellence in writing.
