Kast publishes paper in Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry

Kristopher A Kast, M.D., assistant professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, program director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program, and clinical director of the Addiction Consult Service, recently served as author of a newly-published paper in the Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. The paper, “Applying Good Psychiatric Management for Borderline Personality Disorder in Hospitalized Patients with Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorders,” presents a case illustrating common challenges in the hospital management and treatment of comorbid borderline personality disorder and substance use disorders.
