At Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital (VSRH), clinical programs accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) exist for the rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury and stroke. Other specialized programs offer services to patients with trauma, neurological conditions (such as brain injury, tumors, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis), orthopedic problems (such as complex fractures and orthopedic procedures), medical and surgical conditions (such as cardiopulmonary disease, cancer, post-ICU care, and organ transplantation), and a pediatric program dedicated to children with complex disabilities.

The medical faculty of VSRH includes seven physiatrists, one nurse practitioner, two internal medicine specialists, one developmental pediatrician, and consultants in several specialties.
