Meghan Merklein, MD

Dr. Merklein grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, and completed her General Surgery residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign–Urbana. She chose Vanderbilt for its large and diverse operative volume and strong emphasis on diversity in training. Outside the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her wife and their two dogs.
