Alessandra Zaccardelli, MD
Undergrad: Boston College
Medical School: Tufts University School of Medicine
Dr. Zaccardelli joined Vanderbilt after graduating from Tufts University School of Medicine. She built a strong research foundation in plastic surgery and rheumatologic disease, beginning as a Research Assistant at Brigham & Women’s Hospital prior to medical school. Drawn to plastic surgery for its blend of technical precision, creativity, and meaningful restoration of form and function, she has a particular interest in craniofacial surgery and hand and upper extremity surgery. She is excited to begin her training at Vanderbilt after a formative away rotation that highlighted the program’s collaborative and innovative culture. Outside the hospital, Alessandra enjoys yoga, painting, and spending time outdoors with family and friends in both Nashville and her hometown of Bolton, Connecticut.
