The Vanderbilt Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics & Gynecology or VASGOG Division provides comprehensive health care at all stages of life — from puberty to after menopause. Our board certified OB/GYNs not only provide expert care, but they also offer options for how that care is delivered. We recognize and celebrate that every stage of a patient’s life is different — and so is every patient.
Providing our patients access to the newest and most innovative treatments before they’re widely offered is a priority for us. As part of the only academic medical center in the region, we’re able to do that through clinical trials that are investigating new approaches to obstetric and gynecologic care. The VASGOG Division is also central to the education of medical students and residents, particularly those who will practice the entire breadth of our specialty.

We provide comprehensive, evidence-based obstetric and gynecologic care for all patients throughout their lifespan in many settings including the clinic, on labor and delivery, and in the operating room. We train the next generation of full-scope OB/Gyns and seek answers to important clinical questions to ensure our care remains personalized and innovative as we face the future of healthcare together.”
