Autonomic Disorders Fellowship

Autonomic Disorders Fellowship

Disorders of the autonomic nervous system are common in many areas of medicine. The clinical presentation of autonomic disorders is dominated by autonomic symptoms and signs such as orthostatic intolerance, postural tachycardia syndrome, and orthostatic hypotension among others.

Autonomic disorder specialists are in high demand thanks to increased awareness and specialized testing that allows a comprehensive evaluation of autonomic pathways. Autonomic specialists interact with other medical specialties to provide a multidisciplinary, comprehensive evaluation and management of these patients.

The Vanderbilt Autonomic Dysfunction Center located in Nashville, TN offers a one-year Autonomic Disorders Fellowship to provide you with advanced training in the clinical and research aspects of autonomic disorders.
