As a POTS patient, I have visited both the Autonomic Clinic and the Clinical Research Center at Vanderbilt. I highly recommend both facilities to fellow Dysautonomia sufferers. The amazing team of specialists in the CRC treated me like an old friend coming to visit. They were patient, kind, informative and sympathetic.
Participating in Clinical Research provided me with an opportunity to learn invaluable information about my condition, my body, and my treatment options.
After years of feeling incredibly alone with my condition, I finally felt like I was able to share the burden and witness first hand the research taking place to better understand it. I walked away encouraged, strengthened, and with new found friendships. I didn’t choose this condition, but I am beyond grateful to the doctors at Vanderbilt who chose it as their specialty.
