Rachel Rios, MD

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio, then came down to Vanderbilt for my undergraduate education. I loved Nashville as an undergrad, and I still do! I missed the city while I was in medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, and I was thrilled to come back for residency. Aside from the great location, the culture of kindness and warmth made Vanderbilt stand out for me. When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy exploring Nashville with my co-residents, taking yoga classes, baking, painting, and snuggling with my cats.
