The Center for Evidence-Based Anesthesia (CEBA) at Vanderbilt University is a program housed within the Department of Anesthesiology. The primary mission of CEBA is to facilitate the practice of evidence-based medicine within the medical specialty of anesthesiology. This goal is accomplished primarily through the development and publication of rigorous, evidence-based clinical guidelines. These guidelines, which are locally developed by faculty in the Department of Anesthesiology, allow clinicians across the enterprise to practice the highest quality medicine.
