Nikki Kingma, MD

As a Seattle native, I grew up playing soccer and trekking through the mountains of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Having lived my entire life in the same state, I was nervous about relocating across the country to Nashville. While I’ll admit the humidity required some acclimation, it was evident from day one that I had made the right decision and am absolutely where I’m supposed to be! The sense of community here is exactly what I was looking for in a program (special shout-out to my co-residents!), and I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of the Vanderbilt Health’s Dream Team. In my free time, I enjoy walks or runs in the park, board game nights, exploring farmers’ markets, reading by the pool, weekly happy hours with my co-residents, and discovering the hidden gems of Nashville’s food scene.
