Hisham Kashif, MD

I was raised in Marietta, Georgia, and moved to Augusta for both undergraduate and medical school. While Vanderbilt offers excellent clinical training and abundant opportunities to explore academic interests, the biggest reason I chose this program was the people. I have never experienced such a welcoming and supportive community. My wife, our two cats, and I love exploring the city, especially the nearby trails. When I’m not in the hospital, I enjoy weightlifting, discovering Nashville’s restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie, and watching hockey (Go Preds!)
