Bio: I am from North Carolina but moved west down I-40 to explore the great city of Nashville! It seemed like such a fun city with live music, professional sports, and proximity to great parks/trails. I also knew my friends and family would be sure to visit me if I moved here! I was drawn to Vanderbilt because everyone seemed so friendly and emphasized the department has a culture of teamwork and collegiality. In my free time, you can find me playing tennis or pickleball, trying a new brewery, or cheering on my beloved Tar Heels!
