Catherine Lyons, MD

I grew up near the sugar-sand beaches of the Gulf Coast in Mobile, Ala., and stayed close to home for college at the University of South Alabama. I then headed to the University of Virginia for medical school in the stunning Shenandoah Valley, where I developed a love for hiking and exploring the nearby trails. I chose Vanderbilt Health for its incredible people, strong clinical training and the opportunity to be closer to family. Outside the hospital, I enjoy yoga, traveling, trying new restaurants and going on long walks. I have already spent many of my days off exploring Percy Warner, usually with a coffee or snack stop along the way.
