Steven Yee, MD, MS

I grew up in Orinda, a small town in the Bay Area just outside San Francisco. After attending UC Berkeley for undergrad, I ventured east to Washington, D.C., for my master’s degree before moving to Virginia for medical school. Although I’ve lived in several different cities over the years, Vanderbilt Health immediately felt at home. I was drawn to the program’s strong sense of camaraderie, supportive culture, and, most importantly, the people who make it such a special place to train. Outside of the hospital, I love exploring Nashville’s vibrant food scene, traveling, playing pickleball, hiking and keeping up with all things sports, especially cheering on the Golden State Warriors.
