As a young adult, I have had the opportunity to call many places home—North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and now, very happily, Nashville, Tennessee! This city has everything my fiancé and I love about a big city—great food, culture and energy, with things to do—while still maintaining a powerful sense of community, which makes it feel like home in many ways. When I first came to Vanderbilt for an away rotation, I fell in love with the program and its people from day one! It was immediately clear how truly invested everyone is in you as a physician, colleague and friend. I felt so welcome and knew that Vandy was the perfect program for me. Since joining the Vandy Dream Team, I truly cannot imagine spending the next four-plus years with better people in a better place! Outside of the hospital, you will find me enjoying my free time at the gym, with my fur babies (Mac, Kahlúa, and Zoë), or with my fiancé and friends at happy hour, trying a new restaurant or watching sports. My hobbies also include cooking (pasta is my fave!), reading a good thriller and catching live music whenever I get the chance!.
