Carly Cooper, MD

I grew up in the beautiful Black Hills of western South Dakota, where my mom owns a prom dress store and my dad opened a boat dealership, so pursuing medicine was the (not-so-) obvious choice. During my away rotation at Vanderbilt, it didn’t take long to realize this was where I wanted to train. The people were incredibly kind, approachable and genuine, and I knew I wanted to be part of such a close-knit community. I can now say that choosing Vandy was one of the greatest decisions I’ve made! Outside the hospital, you can find me hunting for the city’s best latte, trying new hot sculpt yoga studios, binge-watching Bravo and slowly working my way through Nashville’s great food scene with my boyfriend.
