Ryan Bolda, MD

I grew up in Northwest Indiana (“The Region,” for those who know it), where my family and closest friends still reside. Family is everything to me, and Vanderbilt stood out to me because it truly feels like a family—one in which I felt immediately welcome. It was clear from my interview and virtual open house that the faculty and residents are supportive and caring, and they extend the Golden Rule daily, which makes me feel at home. I look forward to building new, lifelong relationships with my colleagues. If I’m not in the hospital, you’ll find me on a golf course. Otherwise, I enjoy watching sports, movies, and TV shows, as well as running, cooking, baking and enjoying the diverse food scenes in Nashville.
