Margaret Alvord, MD

I grew up in Washington State, in a suburb about 20 minutes outside of Seattle. I attended the University of Utah for both college and medical school, where I learned to ski for the first time! I’m thrilled to have moved to Nashville with my fiancé to begin my career in my dream program and specialty. I love VUMC’S Department of Anesthesiology because everyone is genuine, kind, and supportive. In my free time, I enjoy trying new restaurants and exploring this incredibly fun and exciting city!
