I grew up in the Dallas, Texas, area, where I spent much of my time participating in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. I attended the University of Oklahoma for my undergraduate education and cheered for the Sooners, where I developed a lifelong passion for college football (Boomer Sooner!). After returning to Texas for medical school, I moved to Nashville to train in anesthesiology. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my co-residents, my fiancé, and our two dogs, whether we're exploring Nashville's parks, going for a run or relaxing with live music at one of the city's local venues.
