I was born and raised in Arkansas, and I’ve always known I wanted to serve the patient population in the South. Vanderbilt offered the perfect combination of being close to home, providing top-notch training, and fostering the community I wanted to be a part of. I was convinced the moment I attended the virtual open house—I could immediately see the genuine bonds between coresidents and leadership. In my free time, I love spending time with my coresidents, who have become some of my closest friends. You can often find us catching up on reality TV, exploring one of Nashville’s many amazing restaurants, or checking out the seasonal decor at Cheekwood.
