Alonzo Jones, MD, MA, MBA

I was born and raised in Tennessee and completed a dual BA/MA program at Vanderbilt University. After graduating, I spent some time working in Philadelphia before discovering my passion for medicine. I then completed a postbaccalaureate program and earned my MD/MBA from the University of Chicago. Vanderbilt Health’s culture of kindness and community was a major draw for me. My co-residents have been incredibly supportive throughout the transition to residency, and I am grateful to have them by my side. Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, playing tennis, CrossFit, traveling, and hosting cocktail and dinner parties.
