BS in Computer Engineering

I am interested in applying math, physics, engineering and computer science to novel problems in MRI. Currently this looks like using machine learning and compressed sensing to address the many hurdles between where the field is now and having an affordable and portable low-field MRI system producing high-quality images in every medical facility.

My current work is focused on acquisition and reconstruction methods that suit the needs of low field MR systems. This includes RF encoding methods that eliminate the need for costly gradient coils and machine-learning-driven compressed sensing and reconstruction approaches that accelerate the MRI experience.
