I research drug delivery through therapeutic ultrasound. Specifically, my research revolves around using transcranial focused ultrasound to open the blood brain barrier.

My two projects involve using ultrasound to modulate the nervous system by opening the blood brain barrier and injecting neuroactive substances while being monitored with fMRI. I also seek to utilize novel ultrasound contrast agents to improve ultrasound blood brain barrier opening.
