VCORCDP Scholars
Since the inception of the grant in 2001, 90% (43/48) of VCORCDP graduates have remained in academia and/or clinical research positions and 83% (40/48) have peer-reviewed grant support, including clinical trials. In the last 10 years of the program alone, our scholars have published 763 manuscripts within 5 years of their appointment to the VCORCDP. They are contributing significantly to the design and conduct of high-impact clinical research that is advancing the field of oncology and improving outcomes for cancer patients.
