Cully Cobb Jr. Neurological Fund - This endowed fund honors Cully’s remarkable legacy for teaching and training neurosurgery residents and fellows, and provides valuable resources for research projects, courses, national meetings, loupes, head lights and book purchases.
Department of Oral, Maxillofacial & Dental Surgery
Oral Surgery Teaching Fund - This fund supports all residents in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by providing important funding for courses and national meetings, research projects, training equipment and resource materials.
Department of Pediatric Surgery
Pediatric Surgery Research and Education Fund - This fund supports research projects and educational endeavors for residents and fellows in the Department of Pediatric Surgery.
Department of Plastic Surgery
Plastic Surgery Resident Education Endowed Fund - This endowed fund supports and enhances the resident education program in the Department of Plastic Surgery.
Department of Surgery
John L. Tarpley Endowed Fund - This endowed fund honors the continued contributions of John L. Tarpley, M.D., program director for the Department of Surgery, and provides vital resources to the Vanderbilt surgical training program. With continued support, we hope to grow this fund to an endowed chair level.
Department of Thoracic Surgery
Thoracic Surgery Endowed Fund - This endowed fund supports research projects and pilot programs in the Department of Thoracic Surgery. The Chairman hopes to grow this fund to yield $500,000 a year.
Department of Urologic Surgery
Urologic Oncologic Research Fund - This fund supports resident and fellow research and education in the Department of Urologic Surgery.
Division of Hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation
Liver Transplantation Research and Education Fund - This fund supports new and ongoing research and educational efforts pertaining to liver transplantation, including but not limited to, furthering education on topics relevant to the clinical care and management of the transplant recipient and living donor.
Division of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation
Renal Transplant Research and Education Fund - This fund supports new and ongoing research and educational efforts pertaining to kidney and pancreas transplantation, including but not limited to, furthering education on topics relevant to the clinical care and management of the transplant recipient and living donor.
Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery
Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery Resident and Education Gifts - This fund provides support to residents for research projects and educational endeavors in the Division of Surgical Oncology and Endocrine Surgery.
Division of Surgical Research
S.R. Light Research Fund - This fund provides support for conducting the research programs of investigators in the Section of Surgical Sciences. It also provides valuable resources to the training of research fellows.
Department of Vascular Surgery
Vascular Surgery Resident and Education Gifts - This fund provides support to residents for research projects and educational endeavors in the Division of Vascular Surgery.
