My research focuses on monoclonal antibody therapeutic discovery for treatment against viruses, autoimmune disorders and cardiovascular diseases. One of my favorite things to do in Nashville is attending concerts.

I am working on engineering an obligate anaerobe to survive oxygen in the inflamed gut. In my free time, I enjoy practicing yoga and trying out different studios around Nashville.
I work on discovering antibody therapeutics against different viral targets. Outside of the lab, I love to spend time with friends, line dance, read, bake and attend concerts.
I am developing an organoid model to study host immune responses to biofilms. My Nashville tip is that the Nashville Humane Association hosts a monthly low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic and provides services
that are grad-student-budget-friendly.
I am working to develop new antigens for vaccination against C. diff. Outside of lab I like to cook, play
sports (Muay Thai is the newest one I've tried), and hiking.
I am exploring how dysmetabolism impairs macrophages function during MRSA infection. My Nashville insider scoop is to join the Nashville Public Library. I like to listen to an audiobook when prepping tubes or plates.
