  • In-person class sessions are held at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Vanderbilt. We are located at 3401 West End Avenue, Suite 380, Nashville TN 37203. For directions to our center, visit our contact page.

  • First, you will need access to the internet and a device with audio/video ability. Position yourself in a quiet room with enough space for movement.

Class series are held through the My Health at Vanderbilt portal and Drop-In Classes are held through Zoom. Detailed information will be sent to you upon class registration, but you can expect the following:

    • Class Series: Virtual class sessions will be accessible through the My Health at Vanderbilt portal. Learn how to prepare for your telehealth appointment.
    • Drop-In Classes: Your personalized Zoom link to join the class will be included in your order confirmation email upon registration. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours of your purchase, email osher@vumc.org.
  • With hybrid classes, you have the choice each week whether you would like to attend in-person or virtually. You do not need to notify our center regarding your choice of attendance. We are ready for you virtually or in person.

  • We recommend loose-fitting clothes. If you are attending in-person, props and mats will be provided at the center, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Specific suggestions for attire and props vary based on the class (comfortable exercise shoes are recommended for some Tai Chi classes). More information can be found in the individual class description at registration.

  • To protect participant privacy and confidentiality, our therapeutic movement classes are not recorded. They are conducted live, whether the format is in-person, virtual or hybrid.

  • Participants may cancel and receive a full refund up to one week before the start date. After that date but before the class starts, participants can apply funds to a future offering. No refund is available after the class start date.

  • Individual sessions for Qigong, Tai Chi and Yoga: Regular attendance is important to achieve your therapeutic and health-related goals. If you must cancel your appointment, we request 24 hours advance notice. A cancellation with less than 24 hours advance notice will be considered a missed visit. We will contact you after each missed visit. Three missed visits are frequently an indicator that the timing isn’t right for this course of treatment. We reserve the right to pause until the timing is better.
