Byron Stephens

Appointed Vanderbilt Orthopaedics’ Residency Program Director

Bryon Stephens, MD, MSCI, is the new director for the Orthopaedics Residency Program. Previously he served as the program’s assistant director for two years. Stephens is Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Neurosurgery; and Division Chief of Orthopaedic Spine Surgery. He joined Vanderbilt in 2016. Stephens won the Kenneth D. Johnson resident teaching award in 2020.
