Register at VURideMatch.com. This is a privacy protected website which helps Vanderbilt employees "network" with co-workers living in the same area who are interested in forming a carpool or who would like to add riders to an existing carpool.
Obtaining your Discounted Parking Permit
Once a carpool group is formed, each participant should review the Carpool Agreement. A copy of the Carpool Agreement must be printed, signed, and submitted to the Parking Permit Office, located on level G of the East Garage. All members of your carpool are required to be present when registering. Please remember to have everyone bring their VUMC ID badge, their vehicle registration and current parking permit should they have one.
VUMC supplements half of the monthly parking fee. The remainder of the cost is divided between each parker who participates in the carpool. The discount is limited to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Faculty or Staff.
The carpool's parking location will be determined at the time of registration. Carpool permits are not available for the N Lot, OHO, Lot 113, WB, Night Permits or Facilities we do not have ownership in, (i.e. Kensington Garage, 3322 W. End).
Options to Drive Separately on Occasion
The following options are available should a carpool participant need to drive separately on occasion:
- Park for FREE at Lot 127.
- Participate in the RTA's Emergency Ride Home Programs (carpool members must review the Policies and complete the Application prior to needing a ride).
- Purchase One Day Parking Permit hangtags for $5.00 each.
