States Sue Drugmakers Over Alleged Generic-Price-Fixing Scheme

justice scale and gavelForty-four states are suing 20 drug manufacturers, alleging price fixing of generic prescription drugs. Stacie Dusetzina, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Health Policy, tells NPR the lawsuit is "very disappointing" because many consumers depend on generic medications because of their affordability.
