Post-Doctoral Fellowships
The Department of Health Policy supports post-doctoral candidates on a discretionary basis as funding and opportunities become available.
Currently, the Department collaborates in the support and mentoring of a post-doctoral fellow through Vanderbilt University’s Data Science Institute. Postdoctoral fellows must apply, including a written letter of support in writing and apply through DSI. More information on DSI postdoctoral fellowships through VU can be found here.

The Department of Health Policy takes on student workers and interns (paid or unpaid) on a semester basis. If you are interested in working with a Health Policy faculty member or project, you are strongly encouraged to review the Primary Faculty page of our website to identify topic areas that match your interests.
To apply, please complete an online application here. You will need to upload a current resume and a cover letter indicating your interests, skills, and the faculty members you are interested in working with. Student employment and internships are dependent upon funding and project availability. While preference is given to Vanderbilt Department of Health Policy MPH and PhD students, Vanderbilt undergraduate students are welcome to apply.
NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, revised hiring and onboarding procedures have added significant delays to start dates.
