DEFINITIONS
Committee:
A collaborative group of individuals from across the organization that review, gather and evaluate information, and make decisions regarding a course of action within their scope of work.
Council:
A professional home that provides a forum for discussion of issues, information sharing, and support to a common group of individuals. Serves in an advisory capacity to hospital leadership.
Taskforce:
A temporary group that convenes for the purpose of accomplishing a definitive objective.
