Nashville CARES The mission of Nashville Cares is to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. Nashville Cares works to achieve this through education, advocacy and support for those at risk for or living with HIV.
Tennessee Department of Health TDH’s mission is to protect, promote and improve the health and prosperity of people in Tennessee. Within communicable and environmental diseases and emergency preparedness (CEDEP), the HIV / STD/ Viral Hepatitis (VH) section works to: prevent new HIV, STD, and VH infections; reduce HIV, STD, and VH associated morbidity and mortality by increasing access to diagnosis and treatment; reduce HIV, STD, and VH-related disparities; and conduct HIV, STD, VH surveillance activities to monitor progress and detect emerging threats.
Vanderbilt Tuberculosis Center The Vanderbilt Tuberculosis Center is a focal point for collaborative efforts and tuberculosis research with an emphasis on epidemiology, clinical trials, and translational research.
