Why VUMC: During my clinical rotations I was struck by the genuine and compassionate commitments attendings had to their patients. They worked hard to advocate for their rehabilitation while also taking time to individually help patients adapt to new circumstances. This also really reflects the values of the VUMC’s PMR leadership, who are incredibly accommodating and supportive. It is evident they are constantly working to grow and improve the training for residents. On the research side, the unique collaborative culture here at Vanderbilt in combination with the well-developed research infrastructure make VUMC a world-class institution to really develop your research career in parallel with your clinical training.

Outside Interests and Hobbies: Fitness, weightlifting, spending time with my significant other. Also love cooking food without burning it.
