Christopher Williams, MD, PhD, selected as Associate Dean for Physician-Scientist Education and Training

After an extensive selection process, Dr. Christopher Williams has been selected to serve as Associate Dean for Physician-Scientist Education and Training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and Director of the Medical Scientist Training Program. The MSTP has a long history of outstanding and inspirational leadership, and Dr. Williams will no doubt continue this tradition.

Dr. Joey Barnett lectures at April symposiums in San Diego, CA and Bethesda, MD

Joey Barnett, Ph.D., Assistant Dean of Physician-Researcher Training and Director of the Office of Medical Student Research (the Inquiry Program), chaired and presented in an April 6th Symposium at the Experimental Biology  meeting in San Diego “ORPHEUS*-Developing Best Practices for Graduate Education in Europe” *(Organisation for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences in the European System). On April 11th, he was an invited speaker at the “NIGMS Symposium on Catalyzing the Modernization of Graduate Education” which was live cast from the NIH in Bethesda Maryland.
