 We are thrilled to be offering The Nation’s Health: From Policy to Practice again this semester. In this University Course, students learn about the health policy process, connect with state policymakers about current health related legislation and compare alternative approaches to improving population health in the U.S.

Department Poster Wins HPERD Blue Ribbon


 
 Congratulations to Marie H. Martin, PhD, MEd, Elizabeth S. Rose, MEd, MPH, Natasha Halasa, MD, MPH, Doug Morgan, MD, MPH, and Doug Heimburger, MD, MS on their HPERD Blue Ribbon win last week for their poster "Strengthening Global Health Medical Education through Multi-Modal Curriculum".

Research into Policy and Practice Lecture featuring TN Insurance Commissioner McPeak set for Tuesday, November 14th

The Department of Health Policy will welcome Tennessee Insurance Commissioner Julie Mix McPeak, JD as the featured speaker at our bi-annual Research into Policy and Practice Lecture on Tuesday, November 14th. The title of this event will be “Turmoil in Health Insurance Markets: What Can Be Done?” Commissioner McPeak will be joined by Drs. Melinda Buntin and John Graves of the Department of Health Policy for a panel discussion. The event will take place in Light Hall room 208 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and will be followed by a reception.
