  • Julie Lankford, MBA

    Senior Director
    Global Health Initiatives & Global Support

    Since 2001, Julie Lankford has served as a global operations and program management specialist for U.S. Government and other international donor-funded projects focused on economic and health development. In this capacity, she has been responsible for program management and implementation in Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, the Eastern Caribbean, Central America, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Bulgaria and the Middle East. Ms. Lankford joined the Vanderbilt team in 2008 and is currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Health Initiatives & Global Support for Vanderbilt University Medical Center as well as the Chief Manager of Friends in Global Health, LLC.

  • Adam Riddick, MBA, ECoP

    Sr. Export Compliance Manager

    As the Sr. Export Compliance Manager for VUMC, Adam works to help colleagues, faculty and staff navigate the complex guidelines comprising U.S. Export Control regulations. This includes assisting stakeholders at all levels to better understand, comply and traverse the intricate regulations and provide guidance regarding U.S. laws governing exporting activities. Adam has worked for nearly a decade in export compliance, including leading classification efforts, export licensing determinations, agreement structuring, policy implementation, contract review, and growing training efforts across multiple continents. Adam holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as an ECoP certification as an industry-recognized Export Compliance Professional.

  • Jessica Lucas-Stroud

    Lead Immigration Consultant

    As Lead immigration Consultant for VUMC, Jessica's primary focus is helping international employees and visitors navigate immigration regulations and academic medical systems. This approach includes assisting heavily in cross-cultural communication around the globe. Since joining VUMC in 2018, Jessica has gained a thorough appreciation for the profusion of research and medical efforts the organization accomplishes through the incredible faculty and staff at VUMC.

  • Nina Resendiz

    Senior Immigration Consultant

    As a Senior Immigration Consultant for VUMC, Nina's primary focus is helping international employees, visitors, and divisions navigate immigration regulations and matters. Nina joined VUMC in 2023. Prior to joining VUMC, Nina worked at another academic medical center for 5 years where she advised and managed a high-volume of immigration matters for physicians, researchers, professionals, and international scholars. Nina has extensive experience with H-1Bs, J-1s, O-1s, TNs, E-3s, Conrad Waivers, Clinical DHHS Waivers, and Research DHHS Waivers.

  • Anne Neubecker

    Chief Business Officer
    Global Support

    As the Chief Business Officer for VUMC Global Support Services and the Administration Officer / Treasurer for Friends in Global Health (FGH), Anne Neubecker has decades of experience in finance, administration, and grants management since joining Vanderbilt in 2003. Her expertise and continued guidance have been essential to the development and growth of major international programs at VUMC, and her understanding of financial and compliance issues with sponsors and in-country governments and institutions is unique. Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and policies, appropriate cost controls are in place, and records are appropriately maintained are a few tasks within her purview. She has extensive experience working in collaboration with her FGH colleagues in sub-Saharan Africa, with an emphasis on building local capacity. Anne also serves as a liaison to the VUMC offices involved in all aspects of administration, including the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Contracts Management, Human Resources, and the Department of Finance.
